Consultations & Booking
How do I schedule a consultation?
You may request a consultation online or contact our office directly. Our team will help determine the appropriate consultation type and timing for your goals.
Is there a consultation fee?
Consultation fees may apply and will be discussed at the time of scheduling.
What should I bring to my consultation?
Please bring a list of medications, prior surgical history, and any questions or inspiration photos you would like to discuss.
How long are consultations?
Most consultations last approximately 30–60 minutes depending on the procedure and complexity.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. You are welcome to bring a support person to your appointment.
Surgery & Recovery
How do I know if I am a good candidate for surgery?
The best way to determine candidacy is through a consultation. We review your goals, anatomy, medical history, and lifestyle to develop a personalized treatment plan.
Where is surgery performed?
Surgery is performed in a fully accredited ambulatory surgery center and/or hospital setting for patient safety.
How much downtime should I expect?
Recovery varies by procedure. During your consultation, you will receive a personalized recovery timeline specific to your treatment plan.
Will I have scars?
All surgery results in scars, but incisions are carefully planned to be as discreet as possible while optimizing results.
How long until I see results?
Many procedures show noticeable improvement early in recovery, though final results may continue to evolve over several months.
Pricing & Financing
How much does surgery cost?
Because every patient is unique, pricing varies based on the procedure and surgical plan. A personalized quote will be provided following your consultation.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We partner with financing companies to help make treatment more accessible for qualified patients.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, cashier’s checks, all major credit cards, and approved financing. Personal checks are not accepted.
Is a deposit required to schedule surgery?
Yes. A $1,000 surgical deposit is required to reserve your surgery date. Deposits are non-refundable and must be used within 12 months.
When is payment due?
Final payment is due 14 days prior to surgery.
Injectables & Lasers
Do you offer Botox® and filler?
Yes. We offer a variety of injectable treatments customized to your goals and anatomy.
What laser treatments do you offer?
We provide customized laser and skin rejuvenation treatments. Recommendations are made based on your skin type, goals, and consultation findings.
How long do injectables last?
Results vary depending on the product used and individual metabolism, but many treatments last several months.
Out-of-Town Patients
Do you see patients from outside Reno?
Yes. We welcome patients from throughout Nevada, California, and beyond.
Can I do a virtual consultation?
Virtual consultations are available to help accomodate our out of town patients. Please contact our office to learn more.
Policies
Do you accept insurance?
Joslyn Plastic Surgery is a cash-pay practice. We do not bill insurance for cosmetic procedures.
Do gift cards expire?
Gift cards are honored for five years from the date of purchase in accordance with Nevada regulations.
